Woody Harrelson says to “relax” now Ron Howard is directing Han Solo Star Wars spinoff

July 11, 2017 by Samuel Brace

Woody Harrelson has commented on the fact that Ron Howard is directing the untitled Han Solo movie.

With things now settling down for the next Star Wars anthology movie, a film set between Episode III and A New Hope about the adventures of a young Han Solo, Woody Harrelson is now saying to “relax” because of what the new director brings to the table.

In an interview with Uproxx, the actor sounded very confident in the film’s new direction, saying: “Oh, you can relax, man — because obviously the Force is with us,” before bursting into laughter.

Harrelson is playing a mentor to Han Solo in the movie and has in fact worked with Howard before on EDtv.

“Ron is great. He’s awesome. He’s such a gentleman and so prepared,” said Harrelson. “And I loved Chris and Phil. But I think we did land in very capable hands.”

Fans of course will be hoping Harrelson is right and that his confidence is well founded. Time will only tell on this front, however.

Williams (The Night Of) in as-yet-unrevealed roles. It is set for release on May 25th 2018.
