Wildspire Waste trailer revealed for Monster Hunter: World

August 19, 2017 by Emma Withington

Capcom has released a brand new trailer for Monster Hunter: World, which reveals the New World’s ‘Wildspire Waste’. Barren badlands and waterlogged swampland feature here, as the indigenous creatures adapt to survive.

Monster Hunter: World, the latest instalment in the 40 million unit selling franchise, brings back the gargantuan series favourite Barroth; who can be found marking his territory and hunting for ants – tasty! Alongside familiar creatures, Monster Hunter: World presents a host of new beasts, such as the Kula-Ya-Ku – a large Dodo-esque bird with a penchant for stealing eggs from other monsters’ nests. Watch the trailer here…

And a take a look at a collection of luscious new screenshots below (click on any of the images for hi-res versions)…

Monster Hunter: World introduces a living, breathing ecosystem in which players take on the role of a hunter that seeks and slays ferocious beasts in heart-pounding battles that unfold across the vast ever-changing terrain. Venture on quests alone or with up to three hunters in a newly designed online drop-in multiplayer system which allows cross-region cooperative play between Japan and the west, uniting the player base for the first time ever.

Monster Hunter: World comes to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Early 2018. A PC release will follow at a later date.
