Charlie Hunnam wanted for Fifty Shades of Grey?

August 23, 2013 by admin

After much talk about the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey film it looks as if Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam is being eyed for the role of Christian Grey. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet but it appears Hunnam may be the frontrunner for the role.

The film recently found a director in Sam Taylor-Johnson, wife of actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass), and now just needs to find its two leads. Hunnam joins a list of actors being considered for the role that includes Ian Somerhalder, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ryan Gosling, Alex Pettyfer, Stephen Amell and Robert Pattinson.

While Hunnam is the star of the popular FX series Sons of Anarchy he was most recently seen in the summer blockbuster Pacific Rim. He’s also done some indie work in recent films such as Deadfall and The Ledge but hasn’t quite branched out to many mainstream films. Getting the role of Christian Grey would certainly help his popularity, especially with the female crowd.

Who do you think should be cast as Christian Grey? Let us know in the comments below….
