Fans have been eagerly awaiting the first glimpse (not counting the leak earlier this year) of Avengers: Infinity War. The film promises to be huge — even the cast agrees — and the public is clamouring to know what all the fuss is about. So, where is our trailer? One would think we’d have some kind of footage by now, given that the film is only a little over six months away. Well, the answer is simple: it’s not ready yet. Today, Marvel Studios co-president Louis D’Esposito took to Twitter to answer a fan’s query about the arrival date of the film’s first trailer:

Even for those who were curious enough to seek out the leaked footage from Comic-Con, it wasn’t in great quality, which made it hard to form an opinion of the film. Hopefully it won’t be long before we can get a glimpse of this colossal team-up in high-definition. It’s sure to be stunning.
UPDATE: While we still don’t have an official date, Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige has reportedly confirmed that the trailer will arrive before the end of the year…
