Kevin Feige deftly avoids talking about Marvel’s Inhumans during recent interview

October 26, 2017 by Jordan Jones

Originally published October 26, 2017. Updated December 18, 2019.

What happened with Marvel’s Inhumans? By all accounts, the show is flawed on nearly every level. How did Marvel let this one out of the gate? Well, you are getting no answers, or opinions, from Kevin Feige. Talking to Uproxx, the Marvel Studios President pulls off an impressive dodge-manoeuvre that would make Spider-Man proud when asked about the failure of the Marvel Television project:

Uproxx: I know you’re a huge Inhumans fan, and you lost that property to TV. Now, with that doing how it’s doing on television, do you look at that and go, well, maybe it’s best we didn’t do that one? Or do you still wish you had that property because you think you could have really knocked out of the park?

Kevin Feige: [Laughs] You’re breaking up, Mike. I can’t hear you. You’re breaking up…

The reviews have not been kind to Inhumans. Critics and fans alike have pointed out the low-budget sets, bad script, and wooden acting, etc. It’s a shame we may never know what the franchise could have looked like on the big screen.

What did you think of Marvel’s Inhumans? Lets us know in the comments…

Marvel’s Inhumans explores the never-before-told epic adventure of the royal family including Black Bolt, the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city. After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.
