October 27, 2017 by admin

UNITE THE LEAGUE

Deadline is reporting that box office tracking data for Justice League is pointing to a domestic box office opening weekend of between $110 million and $120 million. That would put it ahead of Wonder Woman ($103.3 million) and in the same ball park as Man of Steel ($116.6 million), but behind Suicide Squad ($133.7 million) and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ($166.0 million). However, it should be noted that tracking has been a bit off this year. Read more here.

LANDIS MASH-UP

We did get to see Freddy vs. Jason in 2004, but the proposed sequel with Ash from Evil Dead never came to fruition. However Max Landis – son of An American Werewolf in London director John Landis – has an intriguing premise for a mash-up featuring Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Chucky, and the Cenobites. FEIGE RESPONDS TO CRITISICM

There were those who were very upset with the trailer for Black Panther, which showed that Michael B. Jordan’s Killmonger wearing the exact same suit as Black Panther – just with a bit of gold on it. In a new interview with Uproxx, Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige has responded to this criticism that all Marvel movies are the same. “I think Thor: Ragnarok and Spider-Man: Homecoming are two totally different types of movies,” he said. “They’re both fun. People both enjoy them. Is that a similarity? If so, I’ll take it. If that’s a criticism, I’ll take that, too. But really, yeah, Homecoming, Ragnarok, Panther, into Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp after that. And a ’90s-set Captain Marvel after that; these are six very different movies. If what they have in common is they’re all really enjoyable and fun to watch, then I’ll take it.” Read more here.
