Virtual Air Guitar announces two new Kinect titles

November 5, 2017 by Andrew Newton

Microsoft may have stopped producing the Kinect but that doesn’t mean that fans won’t get to continue playing some great games, especially when developers like Virtual Air Guitar Company announce two Kinect games at once.  Gamers can look forward to the next title in the popular ping pong series Boom Ball 3 coming in December and Kinect Funhouse set to arrive next spring.

Boom Ball 3 will take the series in a new artistic direction as players are taken on a journey across vivid landscapes filled with a huge variety of cubic animals and characters.  Each one of the 50 new levels have been hand crafted and the new difficulty modes will give all players a challenge.  If you consider yourself an expert player then look out for the new Fast and Turbo modes which make the balls fly across the screen much faster than before.

As well as 50 all new levels and game modes players will be able to unlock pictures that can be used to customise their paddles, there will even be the option to use the Kinect to take a photo of anything and use that.

The second Kinect title announced is Kinect Funhouse which will be arriving next spring, look out for more details on this game coming soon.

“Even though manufacturing has stopped, that doesn’t mean all the Kinects out there have suddenly stopped existing. We continue to support Kinect, and we’ll keep making Kinect games for as long as enough people keep buying them,” states Aki Kanerva, Founder and Lead Designer at Virtual Air Guitar Company.
