Jeff Goldblum returns in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom featurette

December 6, 2017 by Matt Rodgers

Ahead of tomorrow’s first trailer for J.A. Bayona’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Universal have released a behind-the-scenes video which features something altogether more exciting than dinosaurs and Chris Pratt running away from an erupting volcano; the return of Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm, he of “oooh, ahh, that’s how it always starts, but then later there’s running and, and screaming” fame.

Featuring talking heads from producer Colin Trevorrow, Chris Pratt, and the infectiously enthusiastic Bryce Dallas Howard, as well as plenty of glimpses at new footage, the most intriguing aspect is Bayona’s comments about making Fallen Kingdom a more intense experience for the dino-loving audience. Wouldn’t it be nice to be frightened by dinosaurs, like it was 1993 and a thunderstorm all-over-again?
