Last month it was announced that Katrina Law’s Nyssa al Ghul is returning to Arrow for a guest role in the current sixth season, and it seems she won’t be the only former member of the League of Assassins to show up in Star City this year.
TV Line is reporting that Kyra Zagorsky (Helix) has signed on to portray Athena, whose character description reads: “Bearing a scar across her face as an example of her fearlessness and determination, Athena aims to maintain the legacy of Malcolm Merlyn, her fallen commander — and thus sees anyone who was once associated with him as a potential threat.”
In addition to Helix, where she portrayed Dr. Julia Walker, Zagorsky has appeared in Continuum, Travelers, Supernatural and Falling Skies, and is also booked for a recurring role on The 100.
