Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk coming to Europe and North America this year

February 12, 2018 by Andrew Newton

At NIS America’s annual press event in San Francisco on Friday it was announced that their dungeon crawling RPG developed by Nippon Ichi Software, Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk, would be released in North America and Europe this autumn on the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4 in both physical and digital formats and on PC via Steam.  An announcement trailer can be seen below…

Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk is set in the peaceful town of Refrain, or to be more precise, the labyrinth that lies beneath it.  Players will join Dusk Witch Dronya and her brigade of puppet soldiers as she ventures into the maze to uncover the truth behind the labyrinth.  Assisted by the living book, the Tractatus de Monstrum, Dusk Witch Dronya will need to search every corner, fight vicious monsters and solve deviously designed puzzles if she is to discover the labyrinth’s secrets.

The game features:

  • Fast paced combat.
  • Build an undefeatable army of puppet soldiers to do your bidding.
  • A massive maze to explore with secrets to discover and monsters to crush.
  • Riches and rare artifacts to uncover.

In a seemingly peaceful little town, darkness and intrigue brew beneath the surface. Join Dusk Witch Dronya and her brigade of puppet soldiers as they explore a miasma-filled labyrinth. With the aid of the living book, the Tractatus de Monstrum, what will she and her coven discover? And what dangers lurk amidst the poisonous air that fills the unending maze?

Enjoy a brand-new RPG experience in this highly-anticipated title from Nippon Ichi Software. Embark on a tale of a lifetime and uncover the truth behind the Labyrinth of Refrain.

Look out for Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC this autumn.
