Having voiced the character of Pre Vizsla in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, it seems that Jon Favreau is set for a return to the galaxy far, far away this May, with Ron Howard revealing that Favreau will “voice a very cool and important alien character” in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
The reveal happened after Favreau shared an image of himself alongside Howard and Solo screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan earlier this month:

Favreau himself has often been mentioned as a potential director for a Star Wars movie, although he’s currently pre-occupied with other Disney projects for the time beingas he is currently directing the remake of The Lion King, which he’ll then follow up with The Jungle Book 2.

It is set for release on May 25th 2018.
