Having kicked off production back in April of last year, director Christopher McQuarrie has now taken to Instagram to announce that principal photography has wrapped on Mission: Impossible – Fallout, the sixth instalment of the blockbuster spy franchise.
As you’ll note from McQuarrie’s comment, Fallout’s production has been quite eventful. Filming was put on hold for several months after Tom Cruise broke his ankle filming a stunt back in August, his co-star Rebecca Ferguson announced her pregnancy, and Henry Cavill and his moustache embarked on reshoots for Justice League, which opened this past November. Hopefully post-production will be plain sailing ahead of the film’s release this summer.
