Tom Holland wants Spider-Man to meet up with Black Panther’s Shuri

March 14, 2018 by Samuel Brace

Tom Holland has revealed that he would love to see a meet up between Spider-Man and Shuri from Black Panther.

Character crossovers and meet ups are common practise in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, by its very nature many heroes and villains eventually come across each other’s paths.

One meeting that Spider-Man actor Tom Holland would like to be a part of is between Peter Parker and Black Panther favourite Shuri (Letitia Wright), which he admitted to EW in a recent interview:

“I think Peter would love it. There’s some great moments in the comics where Peter ends up there. And Letitia and I have become really good friends over the last year and a bit. It would be brilliant to have our characters meet up, it would be so funny. She’s brilliant in the movie, she’s actually my favourite part of Black Panther.”

With the huge success of Black Panther and Marvel always looking for new stars to enter the Avengers fold, perhaps Holland might just get his wish, or perhaps the actor just knows something that we don’t.

After the events of Captain America: Civil War, King T’Challa returnsohome to the reclusive, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as his country’s new leader. When two foes conspire to destroy Wakanda, the hero known as Black Panther must team up with C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Dora Milaje, Wakandan special forces, to prevent Wakanda from being dragged into a world war.

Black Panther sees Ryan Coogler (Creed) directing Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa alongside Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Michael B.
