Key and Peele to reunite for Henry Selick’s Wendell and Wild

March 17, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Originally published March 17, 2018. Updated March 16, 2018.

Following on from his Oscar success with Get Out, Jordan Peele is set to reunite with his longtime comedy partner Keegan-Michael Key as the duo lend their voices to Wendell and Wild, a new stop motion animated film from Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas, James and the Giant Peach).

The project is based on an original idea by Selick, who also has the video game adaptation Little Nightmares on his upcoming slate, and is being written by Selick, Peele and Clay McLeod Chapman. Netflix is financing and distributing the movie, while a deal has also been struck with Simon & Schuster to publish a book version penned by Selick and Chapman.
