LEGO has announced that it is to produce a new limited edition set based upon the hugely popular U.S. sitcom The Big Bang Theory, after a proposal from LEGO Ideas program garnered the necessary number of votes for the company to give it the official go ahead.
The Big Bang Theory set was initially pitched to the LEGO Ideas program by two users called Alatariel and GlenBricker, with their concept then hitting over 10,000 votes to take it through to the review process. From here, The LEGO Review Board gave it the green light, along with The LEGO Birds Project, and – potentially – a Doctor Who set. Check out the announcement video here…
