Loot Crate reveals Amiibo deals

November 16, 2014 by Tom Powter

Nintendo have teamed up with Loot Crate to help deliver Amiibo figures in the mail. Now, Loot Crate have revealed the pricing structure of the deal for those interested in purchasing it.

Over the course of three weeks, you’ll be delivered ten figurines:

  • Donkey Kong
  • Mario
  • Kirby
  • Pikachu
  • Princess Peach
  • Yoshi
  • Fox
  • Samus
  • Luigi
  • Zelda

(Thanks, GameSpot!)

It’s interesting to note that Link, Villager, Marth and the Wii Fit Trainer, who are part of the first wave of Amiibo figures, are not present, while Zelda and Luigi, who are a part of wave 2, are.

Loot Crate are promising additional goodies as well, in typical Loot Crate fashion, including “several other exclusive and super rare items, including a t-shirt.”

There are two available payment options – the first is to pay $50 a week, plus $5 shipping, which comes to a total of $165. Or, you can get a $10 discount by paying $140 up front and then $15 for shipping. Either way, the Amiibo figures are going to be retailing for $13 a piece, so there’s no real discount as far as the Amiibo figures go.

The first wave of Amiibo, Nintendo’s new range of NFC figures, will arrive with Super Smash Bros for Wii U on November 21st.
