“I actually got offered this one, I didn’t audition, which is a real step up as an actor when you can get offered things,” she told MTV News before adding that she, “didn’t have to do chemistry reads or anything like that.”

Robbie, who is signed on to play Harley Quinn for the next ten years, was also asked about the tone of the movie.

“I think on a scale of like, The Dark Knight is here and The Avengers is here, I think it’s more on the Dark Knight side of things,” she told the news outlet.

Suicide Squad is being directed by David Ayer (Fury) and is set for release on August 5th 2016. with a cast that includes Joel Kinnaman (RoboCop) as Rick Flagg, Will Smith (Hancock) as Deadshot, Jai Courtney (Terminator: Genisys) as Captain Boomerang, Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club) as The Joker and Viola Davis (How to get Away with Murder) as Amanda Waller.
