Aaron Paul hoping for Jesse Pinkman cameo in Better Call Saul

March 7, 2015 by Gary Collinson

During an interview with Variety, Aaron Paul was asked for his thoughts on Vince Gilligan’s Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul, and whether he had any interest in reprising the role of Jesse Pinkman for a cameo appearance.

“I love it. It’s a little weird because it kind of looks like Breaking Bad. It has somewhat of a little bit different tone, but I know everyone involved, and I’m not involved in it at all and it’s a little weird, a little sad, but it’s great. We always have fun having that discussion [about a cameo] — Vince Gilligan, myself, Peter Gould, the writers. We just have no idea how that would happen. But hopefully one day.”

Paul has previously revealed that both Jesse and Bryan Cranston’s Walt won’t make an appearance in the first season of Better Call Saul, but AMC has already ordered a second season, so perhaps we’ll just have to be patient…
