Ryan Gosling is in talks with Alcon Entertainment about joining the cast of the upcoming Blade Runner sequel, which is being executive produced by Ridley Scott, with Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners) directing.
The sequel to Scott’s sci-fi classic will see Harrison Ford reprising the role of Rick Deckard and is set to take place several decades after the 1982 original, although further plot details are being kept tightly under wraps.
Blade Runner 2 has been written by Hampton Fancher (co-writer of the 1982 original) and Michael Green (Green Lantern), from a story by Fancher and Scott.
