A new character gameplay trailer for Hood: Outlaws and Legends reveals the Brawler

March 19, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Focus Home Interactive and developer Sumo Digital have released the third of four character gameplay trailers for their upcoming PvPvE heist game Hood: Outlaws and Legends. This new trailer looks at the powerful and brutal Brawler.  Join game director Andrew Willans once again while he introduces this new character in the trailer below…

The Brawler is a mighty powerful chap (picture Little John of Robin Hood lore) and a former blacksmith who has vowed to fight the corruption plaguing his country.  Having exchanged his blacksmith’s hammer for a sledgehammer, the Brawler is a master of melee combat and excels at holding a defensive line as well as cutting a path through the enemies for his friends to follow.  Using his sledgehammer, the Brawler can use wide sweeps to clear enemies or carry out a devastating overhead attack that can instantly kill unarmoured targets.

So strong is the Brawler that he even has the ability to lift open portcullises which is useful for when areas have gone into lockdown and allies need to escape. However, his ultimate ability is called Wrath and allows him to push his physical strength to the max to gain increased durability and infinite stamina.

Finally, the Brawler brings more destruction to the battlefield with his explosive grenades.  These devastating throwables are capable of taking out a group of elite knights or even getting rid of a sniper hiding in a crow’s nest.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends will be available on 10th May and can be pre-ordered now with those who do gaining cosmetic goodies and 3 days early access.
