Age of Empires Mobile brings medieval warfare back to the world this October

August 16, 2024 by Andrew Newton

TiMi Studio Group and World’s Edge have announced that Age of Empires Mobile will release on Google Play and the Apple App Store in 17th October.  This innovative new title will bring the beloved empire building series to mobile players with plenty of familiar elements from the Age of Empires games. Check out the reveal trailer below…

Age of Empires Mobile will offer players the chance to choose from dozens of history’s most legendary leaders and find the perfect match to lead their armies into battle.  Great historic leaders such as Barbarossa, Darius the Great, Hammurabi and Leonidas I will be available to choose from, with each having their own unique individual talents that can be used to vanquish the enemy.

Players will be able to build a mighty empire in a realistic medieval world where realistic and interactive terrain and even weather will play their part in shaping the development of the player’s civilisation.

Age of Empires Mobile has been built from the ground up specifically for mobile devices and features:

  • Multiple single-player modes that utilise iconic elements from the original Age of Empires series.
  • Create a stunning civilisation with great cities and historical figures in a realistic medieval world.
  • Take part in immersive battlefields with large-scale castle sieges in a fight with thousands of players worldwide.
  • Manage multiple troops with real-time micro-control.
  • Think carefully when encountering the realistic and interactive terrain and weather patterns.

“We expect players to mystify, mislead and surprise their enemies through the realistic, immersive, medieval gameplay featured in Age of Empires Mobile. We’ve already seen alliances form and alliances crumble through our multi-month playtesting.” said TiMi Studios team leader and studio general manager Brayden Fan.

Get ready to install Age of Empires Mobile from Google Play and the Apple App Store on 17th October.
