Asymmetrical horror Deadly Quiet unveils gameplay trailer

April 29, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Indie developers Tarba Paul Cornel and Abdul Rafy have released the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming co-op asymmetrical horror Deadly Quiet. This new trailer (see below) showcases the unique bodycam perspective as players attempt to survive the horrors of the forest.

Deadly Quiet takes 4 players to the infamous Hoia Baciu forest where they must survive the horrors that lurk within. With its intense atmosphere, players must work together, plan strategies and adapt to the horrors that hunt them. Every step and sound made by players can draw attention to the group, so work together yet maintain silence if you ever want to leave the forest again.  There are numerous ways to leave the forest, set traps, call the police, find a car and more.

Players have different ways in which they can interact with the Wendigo, the most obvious is to help your friends and all leave the forest together, however players can also choose to side with the Wendigo or take matters into your own hands and use electrocutions, burning and crucifixion.

Should the Wendigo prevent a player from leaving the forest it isn’t game over for them. Players can continue to communicate with their friends and enemies in a chaotic fun twist.

Look out for Deadly Quiet coming to Steam at the end of May.
