Deadline is reporting that Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation) has signed on to appear in the road trip comedy Dirty Grandpa, where she’ll join Zac Efron (Bad Neighbours) and Robert De Niro (Grudge Match).
The film is being directed by Dan Mazer (Da Ali G Show) and sees Efron as an uptight twenty-something who is tricked into taking a road trip with his grandfather (De Niro), only to discover the old man is a foul-mouthed pervert looking to get laid at Spring Break. Plaza will play Lenore, “a savvy, beguiling party girl looking for fun on Spring Break.”
Dirty Grandpa is set for release on August 12th, 2016, with a cast that also includes Zoey Deutch (Vampire Academy) and Dermot Mulroney (August: Osage County).
