Blood Bowl III Season 5 kicks off with a horrifying start

June 12, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Cyanide Studio and NACON have announced the start of Season 5 of Blood Bowl 3 and it promises to be a spooky one as it sees the arrival of the Necromantic Horror. Also arriving this season are numerous unlockable rewards and the highly anticipated cross-play feature. A new trailer celebrating the arrival of the undead onto the pitch can be seen below.

The Necromantic Horror faction contains all the creatures the people of the Warhammer world don’t want to meet: wraiths, ghouls, zombies, werewolves and even flesh golems, so it takes a very brave player to confront this team.  These unholy creatures complement each other down to a tee and can make for a mobile and very tough team, especially with their regeneration and resurrection skills.

Season 5 also sees the arrival of the much requested cross-play feature.  This new feature will enable players from any platform (PC, Playstation and Xbox) to play against others in the matchmaking function as well as taking part together in cross-platform competitions.  Players may notice that the Official Ladder now provides a single ranking system, although private leagues will still be catered for.]

Blood Bowl 3 Season 5 is up and running now. Be sure to take part, unless you daren’t take on the Necromantic Horror Faction.
