Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel is set to bring Raymond Garrison, a.k.a. the super soldier Bloodshot, to the big screen next year, and Sony has announced that we’ll be getting our first look at the Valiant Entertainment comic book adaptation this Monday with the release of a first trailer.
Sony made the announcement on Instagram, sharing a teaser which seems to suggest we can expect plenty of graphic violence and bloodshed from the film; check it out here…

“After he and his wife are murdered, Marine Ray Garrison (Vin Diesel) is resurrected by a secret team of scientists. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine – Bloodshot. As Ray first trains with fellow super-soldiers, he cannot recall anything from his former life. But when his memories flood back and he remembers the man that killed both he and his wife, he breaks out of the facility hellbent on revenge, only to discover that there’s more to the conspiracy than he originally thought.”
Bloodshot is directed by visual effects supervisor Dave Wilson (Avengers: Age of Ultron) from a script by Eric Heisserer (Arrival) and Jeff Wadlow (Truth or Dare), and features a cast that includes Vin Diesel (The Fate of the Furious), Toby Kebbell (Fantastic Four), Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver), Guy Pearce (The Catcher Was a Spy), Sam Heughan (Outlander), Talulah Riley (Westworld), Johannes Haukur Johannesson (Game of Thrones), Lamorne Morris (Game Night) and Alex Hernandez (UnReal). It is set for release on February 21st 2020.
