Cobra Kai renewed for a fifth season on Netflix

Months ahead of its season premiere and Cobra Kai is already coming back for another round as news has broken that Netflix renewed the Emmy-nominated series for a fifth season.

Cobra Kai had quite the journey to this point, starting as a YouTube Original series before landing at Netflix, where its popularity exploded. Now, The Karate Kid sequel series a four-time nominee at the Emmys and has seen its cult following grow enormously.

Cobra Kai takes place 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, where a now-successful Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) struggles to maintain balance in his life without the guidance of Mr. Miyagi and must face his previous adversary, down-and-out Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), who seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo.

The series stars William Zabka, Xolo Maridueña, Ralph Macchio, Martin Kove, Courtney Henggeler, Tanner Buchannan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Decenzo, Peyton List, and Vanessa Rubio.

The first three seasons of Cobra Kai are available to stream now on Netflix.
