Cobra Kai season 5 images see the return of Karate Kid III villain Mike Barnes

August 10, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

With just a month to go until the fifth season of Cobra Kai premieres on Netflix, a new batch of images have been released for the hit Karate Kid spinoff series which reveal that Karate Kid III villain Mike Barnes (Sean Kanan) will be reprising his role; check them out here…

COBRA KAI takes place over 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament with the continuation of the inescapable conflict between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka).

Following the shocking results of the All Valley Tournament, Season 5 finds Terry Silver expanding the Cobra Kai empire and trying to make his “No Mercy” style of karate the only game in town. With Kreese behind bars and Johnny Lawrence setting karate aside to focus on repairing the damage he’s caused, Daniel LaRusso must call on an old friend for help.

Featuring in the cast of Cobra Kai season 5 are Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Zolo Maridueña, Courtney Henggeler, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni DeCenzo, Martin Kove, Thomas Ian Griffith, Dallas Dupree Young, Owen Morgan, Aedin Mincks, Vanessa Rubio, Peyton List, Khalil Everage, Joe Seo, Hannah Kepple and Sean Kanan.

Cobra Kai season 5 will premiere on Netflix on September 9th.
