Janus Films has shared a trailer for Magellan, the historical drama from writer-director Lav Diaz.
The film stars Gael García Bernal as Ferdinand Magellan, a Portuguese explorer who attempted the first voyage across the Pacific Ocean in the early 16th century, and follows his journey as he navigates his fleet to Southeast Asia to colonise the Philippines. Check out the trailer below…
