David Harbour is an ass-kicking Santa in Violent Night trailer

October 6, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Universal Pictures has debuted the first trailer for the upcoming holiday action thriller Violent Night.

Directed by Tommy Wirkola (Dead Snow), the film sees David Harbour (Stranger Things) as Santa Claus, with Saint Nick forced to come to the aid of a wealthy family when a team of mercenaries break into their mansion, holding them hostage on Christmas Eve.

Check out the trailer below…

When a team of mercenaries breaks into a wealthy family compound on Christmas Eve, taking everyone inside hostage, the team isn’t prepared for a surprise combatant: Santa Claus (David Harbour, Black Widow, Stranger Things series) is on the grounds, and he’s about to show why this Nick is no saint.

Joining David Harbour in the cast are John Leguizamo (John Wick), Cam Gigandet (Without Remorse), Alex Hassell (Cowboy Bebop), Alexis Louder (The Tomorrow War), Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones) and Beverly D’Angelo (National Lampoon’s Vacation).

Violent Night arrives in cinemas on December 2nd.
