DC announces YA novels featuring Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman and Catwoman

DC Entertainment and Random House are teaming up for a series of Young Adult novels featuring Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman and Catwoman, Entertainment Weekly has revealed.

Wonder Woman will be written by Leigh Bardugo (Six of Crows), and is set for release in August 2017, followed by Batman by Marie Lu (Young Elites), Superman by Matt de la Peña (The Living) and Catwoman by Sarah J. Maas (Throne of Glass).

Marvel has recently entered the YA market with the publication of Black Widow: Forever Red by Margaret Stohl, which also has a sequel in the works alongside books on Iron Man and Captain Marvel.
