Season 3: The Abyss Awaken will introduce the new Resource Rumble game mode. This new mode will task players with unlocking three resource points in a random order. Controlling these resource points will reward the team with points, and the first team to hit the target score can claim the victory. Players will need to win control over these points, gather resources, and rumble their opponents to prevent them scoring. This new game mode will be available from the 21st August.
The new Klyntar: Throne of Knull map is located deep underground and only connects to the surface through the Venom Spire. This spire pierces the Core and continues through to the planet’s core. Despite the Phoenix waking Knull, the lingering Phoenix Force continues to restrain him and keep him on his throne, that is until the Queen in Black can extinguish the Phoenix flames.
Also starting on the 21st August is the new in-game event, ‘Ancient Powers Awaken’. This event will have players complete matches to earn EXP and level up in order to claim impressive rewards, including the free costume – Doctor Strange: Old Man Strange, and many more.
