During Disney’s D23 Expo, a new trailer was released for the eagerly-anticipated animated sequel Moana 2 which sees the titular heroine answer the call of her ancestors with the help of Maui and a crew of aspiring seafarers from Motunui, as they set off of a new adventure to find the lost island of Motufetu to break an ancient curse; watch it below…

Moana 2 sees the return of Auli’i Cravalho as Moana, Dwayne Johnson as Maui, Rachel House as Grandma Tala, Temuera Morrison as Chief Tui and Nicole Scherzinger as Sina, alongside franchise newcomers Hualālai Chung, David Fane and Rose Matafeo as Moana’s new crew members Moni, Kele and Loto, Awhimai Fraser as mysterious new character Matangi, Gerald Ramsey as Moana’s ancestor Tautai Vasa; and Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda as adorable little sister Simea.
