The swashbuckling swordsman Dogtanian makes his return this summer, with Altitude announcing that the CG-animated Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds is set for release in UK and Irish cinemas in June. Check out a batch of images from the animated feature here…
Based on the beloved 80s animated series and inspired by Alexandre Dumas’ classic novel, Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds follows Dogtanian is an ambitious young swordsman who dreams of following in his father’s footsteps by becoming a hero and joining the legendary Muskehounds. After proving his skills and earning their trust, he and the three Muskehounds must defend the King from the villainous Cardinal Richelieu’s secret plot to seize power. Will the Cardinal win and take control, or will Dogtanian and his new friends foil the evil scheme before it’s too late?
Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds will release in UK cinemas on June 25th, with previews on June 19th and 20th.
