A24 has shared the first trailer and a poster for The Smashing Machine, the biographical sports drama from writer-director Benny Safdie which sees Dwayne Johnson swapping the squared circle for the octagon to play UFC fighter Mark Kerr. Check them out below…
Joining Dwayne Johnson in the cast are Emily Blunt as Dawn Staples, Ryan Bader as Mark Coleman, Bas Rutten as himself, Oleksandr Usyk as Igor Vovchanchyn, Lyndsey Gavin as Elizabeth Coleman, Satoshi Ishii as Enson Inoue, James Moontasri as Akira Shoji, Yoko Hamamura as Kazuyuki Fujita, and Stephen Quadros as himself.
The Smashing Machine arrives in cinemas on October 3rd.
