Dwayne Johnson linked to Baywatch movie

October 3, 2014 by Alfie Nobes

According to THR, Dwayne Johnson a.k.a. ‘The Rock’ is now loosely connected to Paramount’s long-gestating movie adaptation of Baywatch. It seems as though the 42 year old actor is yet to confirm his involvement with the remake of this classic 90s TV show, however Horrible Bosses 2 director Sean Anders and writer John Morris are said to be fully on board with the project.

The concept of a Baywatch movie has long been in limbo but hopefully after the arrival of Johnson the idea will finally spring to life. The potential combination of Johnson, Anders and Morris suggests this film is most likely to be as action packed as it will be hilarious, but only time will tell.

If you can’t wait that long to see ‘The Rock’ punching and blowing things up again you can catch him in yet another instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise next year.
