Game of Thrones: Kingsroad launch date announced with new trailer

April 30, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Netmarble and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced that the highly anticipated action-adventure RPG Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will launch on mobile platforms and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on 21st May.  To celebrate this eagerly awaited announcement, a new trailer (see below) showing the action that players will be able to experience this May.

Steam gamers eager to start their journey into the lands of Westeros are now able to purchase the Founder’s Pack. This pack is available in Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate editions and provides a variety of goodies such as emojis, mounts, outfits, in-game currency and Early Access to the game. Mobile gamers can pre-register through Google Play and the App Store.

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad allows players to freely wander the iconic areas of Westeros and take in the sights. Players can explore the capital of Kings Landing, the warm Highgarden, the forboding stronghold of Castle Black and the massive icy Wall that defends the border of the Kingdom of the North.

Players will be able to create their own character from a deep character creation system and select a class inspired from the iconic roles within the television series. From there, they will be able to experience a brand-new story where they will become the heir to the small northern noble family of House Tyre and play a part in the wider issues affecting Westeros, such as the Lannisters sitting on the Iron Throne, the gathering of forces under the banner of Stannis Baratheon, and the White Walkers beyond the Wall.

Pre-register (or purchase if on Steam) now and get ready for a new adventure in Westeros.
