General Grievous to take centre stage for Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories – Grievous original graphic novel

June 29, 2025 by Gary Collinson

20 years on from his big screen debut in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, General Grievous is set to make his return with Dark Horse Comics announcing that the Separatist mastermind will take centre stage in the all-ages original graphic novel Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories – Grievous.

A standalone story set during the height of the Clone Wars, the graphic novel has been written by Michael Moreci (Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories—The Bad Batch) with art from Caio Filipe (Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures), colors by Dan Jackson (Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories) and lettering by ComiCraft (Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories – Qui-Gon).

Count Dooku has sent General Grievous to conquer the jungle planet of Katou. It’s an opportunity to prove Grievous’ worth to his Sith masters. The herders of Katou are no match for the mechanized monster. Still, when Jedi Knight Cardiff Baye and his clone troopers arrive, Grievous takes to the forest for a stealthier approach. Can the general’s brute strength defeat the heroes of the Republic, or will his beastly nature be his downfall?

Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories – Grievous will go on sale on January 13th 2026.
