Ghostbusters DLC pack arrives on Planet Coaster

June 4, 2019 by Andrew Newton

If there’s something strange… in your amusement park, who you gonna call?  That’s right, Ghostbusters, as from today it will be possible to call the heroes to your park in Frontier’s Planet Coaster with the Ghostbusters DLC pack.

The Ghostbusters DLC features a brand new story driven scenario that sees player’s parks haunted by crazy ghosts, including fan favourite spooks Slimer and Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.  Players will be mentored through the scenario by Ray Stantz, voiced by Dan Aykroyd and will learn a whole new way to play as a Ghostbuster.

Full features of the upcoming DLC include:

  • A fully voiced, narrative campaign featuring the voice talents of Dan Aykroyd and William Atherton, who played Walter Peck.
  • A new in-game interactive ghostbusting ride, The Ghostbusters Experience.
  • A new Slimer-themed kiddie coaster, the RollerGhoster.
  • Fan favourite Ghostbusters characters, including Raymond Stantz, Slimer, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and a few surprises!
  • Authentic scenery pieces and sounds straight from the 1984 original movie, including the Ghostbusters HQ, ECTO-1 and Ray Parker Jr’s classic Ghostbusters theme.

Take on ghastly ghosts with the help of the Ghostbusters team! Under the guidance of Dr. Raymond “Ray” Stantz and the Ghostbusters, free your attractions from ghosts and restore fun and excitement to your entertainment parks.

Planet Coaster: Ghostbusters adds a brand new rollercoaster, an interactive Ghostbusters™ dark ride and a fully voiced narrative campaign with Dan Aykroyd and William Atherton along with a few surprises!

The Ghostbusters DLC is available now for Planet Coaster.
