Gomorrah: The Origins unveils first trailer from Sky

December 1, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Sky TV has shared a trailer for Gomorrah: The Origins, the upcoming prequel to the acclaimed Italian crime drama series.

The series stars Luca Lubrano as the future head of the Savastano clan, Pietro, and tells the story of the young. ambitious man’s entry into the criminal world in 1970s Naples.

Joining Lubrano in the cast are Francesco Pellegrino as Angelo ‘A Sirena’, Flavio Furno as ‘O Paisano’, Tullia Venezia as young Imma, Fabiola Balestriere as Annalisa Magliocca, alongside Antonio Buono, Ciro Burzo, Luigi Cardone, Antonio Del Duca, Mattia Francesco Cozzolino, Junior Rancel Rodriguez Arcia, and Antonio Incalza.

Pietro is a tough city kid who grew up in the poorest parts of Secondigliano. He and his friends survive any way they can, riding their mopeds around town and committing petty theft. But he has a big dream: to become like Angelo ‘A Sirena, the neighborhood’s “king.” When he manages to get in the graces of the young boss, he finds himself caught in a power game far beyond him. He ends up wondering whether this dark, violent criminal life is really what he wants or if his love for Imma can save him from such a fate.

Gommorah: The Origins premieres on Sky early 2026.
