Hellboy: The Crooked Man adds Jefferson White and Adeline Rudolph to the cast

March 6, 2023 by EJ Moreno

The titular Hellboy has been cast, and now we know the budding cast for The Crooked Man.

Deadline reports that Jefferson White and Adeline Rudolph will join the upcoming adaptation; White will star as Tom Ferrell, and Rudolph will play Bobbie Jo Song. They’ll join Jack Kesy (Deadpool 2), who is starring as Hellboy in Millennium’s reboot.

White is best known for his work on Yellowstone, and Rudolph starred in Netflix’s Resident Evil as Billie Wesker and had a supporting role in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Hellboy: The Crooked Man sees Hellboy stranded in 1950s rural Appalachia with a rookie BPRD agent. There they discover a small community haunted by witches, led by a local devil with a troubling connection to Hellboy’s past: the Crooked Man.

Crank director Brian Taylor will helm the project, the first film in Millennium’s development slate with Telepool, the German film and TV distributor owned by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. Penning the script are Hellboy comic book creator Mike Mignola and Chris Golden.

The film will begin production in Bulgaria in the next few weeks.
