Hot Toys’ Thor: Love and Thunder deluxe sixth scale figure revealed

June 27, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Hot Toys has unveiled its new sixth scale Thor Movie Masterpiece Series figure which is inspired by the likeness of Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder in the MCU sequel Thor: Love and Thunder. The Marvel collectible is available to pre-order now, priced at $345; check it out here…

The brand-new Marvel collectible figure is skillfully crafted based on the appearance of Chris Hemsworth as Thor in the movie. It features a head sculpt specially applied with luminous reflective effect that accentuates Thor using his thunder power, a specialized body to depict his muscular physique, a red-colored cape, gold and blue body armor with LED light-up function, LED light-up Stormbreaker, assorted lightning effect accessories with luminous reflective effect applied, and a figure stand.

This Deluxe Version will exclusively include accessories for alternative styling, such as a LED light-up helmeted head sculpt, interchangeable chest armor, one pair of armored arms, and lightning effect accessories attachable to the helmet.

Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Love and Thunder” finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.

Directed by Thor: Ragnarok helmer Taika Waititi, who also reprises his on-screen role as Korg, Thor: Love and Thunder stars Chris Hemsworth (Thor), alongside the returning Natalie Portman (Jane Foster), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Jaimie Alexander (Lady Sif), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Dave Bautista (Drax) and Sean Gunn (Kraglin), with Christian Bale (Ford v Ferrari) as Gorr the God Butcher and Russell Crowe (Man of Steel) as Zeus.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set for release on July 8th, 2022.
