Interplanetary tensions rise in For All Mankind season 5 trailer

February 25, 2026 by Amie Cranswick

With just over a month to go until For All Mankind returns for its fifth season, Apple TV has shared a new trailer for the alternate history sci-fi series which sees tensions rising between the citizens of Mars and their former home, when the nations of Earth refuse to keep sending supplies and try to implement their own control of the red planet.

Season 5 sees the return of Joel Kinnaman, Toby Kebbell, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, Coral Peña and Wrenn Schmidt, alongside new series regulars Mireille Enos, Costa Ronin, Sean Kaufman, Ruby Cruz and Ines Asserson. Watch the trailer below…

Season five of “For All Mankind” picks up in the 2010s, years since the Goldilocks asteroid heist. Happy Valley has grown into a thriving colony with thousands of residents and a base for new missions that will take us even further into the solar system. But with the nations of Earth now demanding law and order on the Red Planet, friction continues to build between the people who live on Mars and their former home.

For All Mankind season 5 premiere on Apple TV on March 27th.
