Iron Maiden comes to World of Tanks Modern Armor

September 14, 2023 by Andrew Newton

The legendary band Iron Maiden has arrived in World of Tanks Modern Armor as Wargaming continue Metal Mania.  Iron Maiden is the finale to the Metal Fest event and until 3rd October players will be able to unlock a wealth of exclusive rewards, including an Eddie 3D Hero Commander.

In an unparalleled hard rock experience, players will be able to take to the battlefields on a quest to conquer challenging stages.  Players will be able to drive an Iron Maiden-themed Senjutsu TO-55 flamethrower tank and leave scorched enemies in their wake in the game’s World War II battles.  In Modern Armour battles, tank commanders will be able to take control of the A Matter of Life and Death (AMOLAD) tank, a Cold War vehicle specifically designed for the event.

Iron Maiden’s Eddie will be making his appearance as a 3D Hero Commander and comes with a chilling guttural, growling voiceover.  There’s more of Eddie to collect in the form of 14 different Eddie 2D Standard Commanders.  Each one has been designed to pay tribute to Eddie, who has been the focus for all Iron Maiden covers to date.

Tank commanders will also be greeted with two Iron Maiden songs when they enter the garage. ‘Brighter Than a Thousand Suns’ and ‘The Writing on the Wall’ will echo out to all those who own the Iron Maiden vehicles.

World of Tanks Modern Armor Metal Fest concludes on 3rd October.
