February 2, 2023 by Matt Rodgers

Their CVs are as eclectic as each other, and now Guy Ritchie and Jake Gyllenhaal are teaming up for Afghanistan action-thriller The Covenant.

Gyllenhaal returns to the war genre following roles in Brothers and Jarhead, to play John Kinley, a soldier on his last tour in Afghanistan, who gets a blow to the head that incapacitates him. The Covenant arrives in theatres on April 21st, 2023.
