Japanese mystery thriller Missing gets a trailer, poster and images

October 24, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its release this November, Dark Star Pictures has shared a trailer, poster and images for the Japanese mystery thriller Missing.

Directed by Shinzô Katayama and starring Aoi Itô, Jirô Satô, and Hiroya Shimizu, the film follows widower Santoshi as he sets out to track down an infamous serial killer to receive a reward and pay off his debt. However, when he goes missing his young daughter begins to fear the worse and has to embark on her own search for her father.

Check out the trailer below…

Depressed and in debt following the death of his wife, Santoshi tells his young daughter he has found a way out. Pointing to a reward note, he vows to find the infamous serial killer “No Name” claiming to have seen him in the flesh a few days earlier. Kaeda cannot believe her aloof, goofy father. But when he goes missing without a trace, she begins to fear the worst and must start the search for him.

Missing arrives in cinemas on November 4th, followed by an On Demand release on November 18th.
