Lady Gaga knows all about bad romance, but by the looks of the above image, this could be her worst yet.
Director Todd Phillips has concluded principal photography on his Joker sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux, and teased fans with new images of our stars.
We’ve seen sneak peeks of the film’s production, mostly from set photos, but the new photos of Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga paint just how mad the film will be. This marks the first official look at Lady Gaga in full Harley Quinn mode, as we’ve only seen a small tease of her more clean-cut Harleen Quinzel side. As for Phoenix’s Joker, Arthur Fleck is back in full clown mode, and it’s as chilling as it was in 2019.

Joaquin Phoenix reprises his Oscar-winning role as Arthur Fleck/Joker, along with Zazie Beetz’s Sophie, while other new additions to the cast for the sequel include Lady Gaga (A Star Is Born) as Harley Quinn and Brendan Gleeson (The Banshees of Inisherin), Harry Lawtey (Industry), Catherine Keener (The Adam Project), and Jacob Lofland (Mud) in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
Joker: Folie À Deux is slated to release on October 4th, 2024.
