Jordan Peele’s The Twilight Zone revival begins production

Some 59 years after the original show’s premiere on October 2nd 1959, CBS All Access has announced that production is now underway on the revival of the classic anthology series The Twilight Zone, which sees Get Out helmer Jordan Peele stepping into the shoes of Rod Serling as executive producer and host.

Here’s a short video announcing that filming is underway…

Details on the new Twilight Zone are being kept firmly under wraps, but we do know that the show is being produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg’s (X-Men: Dark Phoenix) genre films. It is expected to arrive some time in 2019 on CBS All Access, which also has every episode of the original series available to watch now.
