Jude Law and Andrew Garfield to play Siegfried & Roy in Apple TV+ series

May 14, 2025 by EJ Moreno

If you grew up before the 2000s, the name Siegfried & Roy was inescapable. Now, we will finally see their wild tiger-filled story brought to life.

Variety confirms an Apple TV+ limited series is in the works, with Jude Law and Andrew Garfield signing on to star. Law will play Siegfried, and Garfield will play Roy. It’s set for an eight-episode series based on the Apple Original Podcast, Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy.

John Hoffman developed the series for television and will serve as executive producer, showrunner, and director. Matt Shakman will executive produce and reportedly direct the first episode. Law and Garfield also serve as executive producers.

The official logline for the show states that it “tells the wild ride relationship tale of two of the greatest showman-magicians in history who, along with their white tigers, are tasked with turning Sin City into a family-friendly destination. The duo push the concept of illusion versus reality to the extreme, personally and professionally, until tragedy reframes and opens a mystery surrounding their last fateful Las Vegas show.”

For those who don’t know, Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn began as a cruise ship and nightclub magic act before blowing up in Las Vegas. Their act regularly featured tigers until a shocking incident in 2003 ended their career.

Production is set to begin this fall.
