With its release a little over two weeks away, 20th Century Studios has shared a new featurette for the eagerly-anticipated sci-fi adventure, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which sees director Wes Ball, and stars Kevin Durand, Freya Allen, and Owen Teague; discuss building the world of the next instalment in the iconic franchise; check it out below along with four new promos….
“Set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign, in which apes are the dominant species living harmoniously and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.”
Directed by Wes Ball, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes features a cast that includes Owen Teague (It), Freya Allan (The Witcher), Kevin Durand (Locke & Key), Peter Macon (The Orville), William H. Macy (Shameless), Travis Jeffery (Unbroken ), Neil Sandilands (Sweet Tooth), Sara Wiseman (One Of Us Is Lying), Ras-Samuel Welda’abzgi (The Clearing), Lydia Peckham (Cowboy Bebop) and Dichen Lachman (Severance).
