Kristen Stewart & The Power of the Dog win big at LGBTQ-focused 13th Dorian Film Awards

March 17, 2022 by EJ Moreno

Don’t tell Sam Elliott, but The Power of the Dog just won big at the Dorian Film Awards.

GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics hosts the Dorian Awards and looks to spotlight the best in film, but usually with an LGBTQ lens. This year was no different as both acting awards went to members of the community (Ariana DeBose and Kristen Stewart) and Best Film went to Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog.

Also, legend Rita Moreno nabbed the coveted Timeless Star winner, becoming the first Latino actress to win. She joins previous winners that include Jane Fonda, Sir Ian McKellen, John Waters, George Takei, Dame Angela Lansbury, Meryl Streep, Harvey Fierstein, Betty White, and Meryl Streep.
